Fortune Telling Cards for having fun while learning English
This page, along with the other three pages in this series, can be printed out and cut into separate cards, or students may simple cut a sheet of paper into 36 equal size pieces and number each from 1 to 36. Using these pages as a reference guide, students can discuss their own fortunes and the possible implications for their future. A page describing the way to lay out the cards is linked here and can also be printed out for instruction.

Many friendships, if near 29, 30, 31, or 35. Near 36 someone can be trusted in money matters. Near 21 enjoyable social function. Near 22 a secure happy life.
20: The Clouds
Cards to the left made dark. To the right made light.
21: The Dog
Many sincere friends. Dark cloud suggests choosing friends carefully.

22: The Anchor
Success and honor in business; if at a distance, breach of faith and a plan's failure. Near 21 someone is trustworthy.
23: The Mice
Loss or theft. If near, recovery. If far, loss is permanent.
24: The Switch
Trouble in family matters.

Good news. If near the dark Cloud, but with no Moon card, message brings worries. Near 22 or 23 only brief worries.
26: The Star
Good luck, near the dark cloud a long unsuccessful trip.
27: The Cats
Near 21 or 16 flatterers seek favors. Near 11, 9, 7, 28, 24, 32, 33, or dark 20 disappointing friend; 21 or 22 enemies indicated.
