127 kg
Finally I am off the charts, exceeding the highs of all my previous weights. I have written about the despair, that comes with this gain, in Diet Commentary 2005.
I can only assume that my previous logging of these changes did not fundamentally alter either my eating habits nor exercising patterns. I had hoped awareness would bring insight which in turn would create transformation. I also thought that any successes would serve to help other people with a weight problem.
Documenting failure is less admirable and hardly useful. As convinced as I may be of the merit of failing in order to assure success, it can only prove truly useful when my goals of weight loss are achieved. For now, there is little point in evaluating my short comings ad infinitum.
Yet I am at a loss at what to do next.
In 2005 I want to remap this log. Initially I want to zero in, on smaller blocks of time and very specific dietary choices, and try and talk more extensively to the issues of food and exercise and my adverseness to change.
I am blessed, for the time being, with an opportunity to move toward a healthier future. To walk the talk. This dietary diary will only make sense when I can finally feel better about my life again.
